Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs)

Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) is the general name given to a family of rubber-like materials which combine the elastomeric characteristics of rubber with the recyclability and processing advantages of thermoplastics.

Rubber is a thermoset material, so once it is melted, it cannot be remelted without degrading.
TPEs give rubberlike properties and can be remelted/reprocessed.
